Longer simpler retainer

Yesterday's ragmask again (1 later of 400-thread cotton, 2 layers of thinner satin from a cheap bedding set), but this time with a single longer retainer 6.5" long by .75" wide (16.5cm x 2cm) that's easier to button-hole sew to the edge:

The fit is still comfrtable and the fabric no longer flaps in and out with each breath. The place to sew the retainer is just below the end of the nose wire. If I was making this mask afresh, I'd sew in the retainer, last.

Sadly, with this retainer, the facemask will no longer fold flat to mail from A to B.
