Washable 7 layers with ear elastic

Some 20mm bias tape delivered today makes the difference here, as it means much less zig-zag stitch - no frayed edges to irritate your skin now.

Parts:
  • Six layers of satin from a bedding set (from Amazon)
  • One layer of 400-thread cotton as the outer
  • A really thin plastic retainer to force cupping to increase breathability
  • Nose wire
  • 1mm ear elastic

Construction is flat for a long as possible which will be made clear in the next article.

The fit is quite good and it's very comfortable to wear. With the ear elastic it might not be such a good seal as the two-strap "ragmask" that I make, though.
